Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily laboratory operations across BeAAT and NORM Plants
- Plan, organize, and control laboratory activities including sampling, test scheduling, and workload distribution
- Perform and supervise pre acceptance testing and waste characterization to support sales and commercial teams
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve laboratory protocols, SOPs, and safety guidelines
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and validated
- Oversee execution of routine, non routine, and investigational analyses ensuring data integrity
- Manage laboratory performance indicators and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Coordinate with waste reception, operations, HSE, and commercial teams for effective waste handling
- Propose and optimize waste blending/feeding recipes for incineration and TDU operations
- Supervise and train laboratory staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular audits
- Develop, review, and validate Waste Material Data Sheets (WMDS)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 10 years of experience in laboratory management
- At least 3 years in a leadership role within an industrial or hazardous waste management environment
- Proven experience in handling and testing hazardous materials
- Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods, equipment, and safety protocols
- In depth understanding of local environmental regulations and quality assurance standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and management skills
- Strong data management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant certifications in laboratory management or hazardous waste handling (e.g., ISO, HSE) are a plus

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 10 years of experience in laboratory management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within an industrial or hazardous waste management environment.
- Proven experience in handling and testing hazardous materials.
