Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory operations, audits, compliance checks, and reporting, including sample collection and handling.
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage and maintain cryogenic storage equipment, including handling and inventorying cryopreserved specimens (sperm, oocytes, embryos).
• Coordinate transportation of cryopreserved specimens with third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system and process medical record requests.
• Act as a primary point of contact between the laboratory, physicians, and nursing teams for lab-related coordination.
• Organize and manage laboratory paperwork, supply inventory, and administrative documentation as well as data submission.
• Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education : High school degree required. Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related science field preferred.
• Experience: 6+ months of laboratory experience outside of coursework preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
