About the Role
Alfa Care Diagnostic Center seeks a Lab Technician/Mobile Phlebotomist to collect and process patient samples, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain laboratory equipment. The role requires a CMLT qualification, a valid driving license, and a vehicle for home collections.

Responsibilities
- Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, stool, tissue) following proper procedures, including home collection
- Prepare and process samples for testing according to laboratory protocols
- Perform diagnostic tests such as blood tests, biochemical analysis, and microbiological examinations
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, haematology analysers, chemistry analysers)
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of test results
- Maintain high quality standards by following Good Laboratory Practices
- Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), biosafety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Manage laboratory supplies, reagents, and documentation
- Record and maintain patient reports in the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
Requirements
- Must have completed CMLT
- Must own a vehicle and possess a valid driving license
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of laboratory/phlebotomy experience
