About the Role
SIA Innovations is seeking a Lab Leader to lead the LAB division and internal products (Agile+, MIRE, Common Sense). You will define product vision, ensure delivery quality, and promote LAB services.

Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product vision for Agile+, MIRE, and Common Sense
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in development processes and tools
- Build and maintain a library of reusable components and best practices for the LAB
- Contribute to internal R&D initiatives and SIA's intellectual property
- Ensure quality standards defined for the LAB translate into client deliverables
- Translate studio and client needs into clear priorities for the internal product roadmap
- Document and communicate LAB quality standards and development processes
- Support development teams across all studios through coaching and example
- Coach the development team in LAB and SDLC evolution, including adoption of agentic AI tools like IBM Bob
- Contribute to business development: demos, proposals, RFP highlighting internal products, and online/field promotion
- Facilitate internal sessions on LAB products and best practices
- Manage the full lifecycle of internal products: prioritization, delivery, adoption, continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline
- 6 to 10 years of experience in enterprise application development
- Hands on experience in several of: containers/clusters (Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo, UrbanCode, Buddy), monitoring (ELK, Logdna, Prometheus), development (NodeJS, Java, React), databases (CloudantDB, MongoDB, DB2, MySQL)
- Experience in product or backlog management (e.g., ClickUp) and with Agile methodologies
- Full professional bilingualism in French and English, written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills, ability to explain technical issues to varied audiences
- Rigor, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

The Role
- As Lab Leader, you are responsible for the LAB division and its internal products: Agile+, MIRE, and Common Sense.
- Your mandate has three components: evolve these tools to create real value for teams and clients, guarantee delivery quality of all LAB development activities, and promote LAB services to the market and IBM.
- This role is transversal: you are not attached to any particular studio; your influence extends across all SIA delivery teams.

Job Modalities
- Work mode: 100% onsite, 5 days per week.
- Location: Downtown Montreal 1000 de la Gauchetière West, 39th floor (direct metro and REM access).
- Reporting: No studio transversal position within LAB.
- Employment type: Full time, permanent.
