Role Overview
Perform laboratory analysis supporting gold and silver refining operations.
Work with gold, silver, doré bars, intermediates, and process samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fire assay, potentiometric titration, and ICP-OES or ICP-MS analysis.
- Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and calibration solutions under SOPs.
- Record, verify, and report analytical results accurately and on time.
- Monitor refining parameters and support production teams with analysis.
- Maintain laboratory quality systems, procedures, documentation, and instruments.
- Coordinate calibration and preventive maintenance activities.
- Investigate abnormal results and support troubleshooting.
- Follow safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain laboratory chemical, consumable, and reference-material inventories.
Experience Requirements
- Three to four years of experience in precious metals, mining, metallurgy, or refining laboratory operations.
- At least one year of gold refinery experience is preferred.
Workplace
- The role is performed in person in JAFZA, Dubai, UAE.
