Nearform is hiring a Knowledge Graph Engineer for a full-time, permanent opportunity focused on cloud-based data engineering and production systems.
The role works within an engineering function to translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable digital products.
What We Are Looking For
- Professional Knowledge Graph Engineer experience with strong cloud-based data engineering using AWS.
- Strong production Python development expertise.
- Hands-on experience building and working with knowledge graphs.
- Strong experience with relational databases and enterprise data platforms.
- Experience building high-quality data pipelines, including performance optimization and diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong code quality, testing automation, maintainable design, problem-solving, independent working, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SPARQL is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms is preferred.
- Interest in Generative AI and applied machine learning is desirable.
Workplace and Eligibility
- The role is remote-first and intended for candidates based in the UK; the title also references the UK or Ireland.

Responsibilities
- Build high-quality knowledge graph and cloud-based data engineering solutions.
- Develop production systems in Python.
- Build, optimize, and diagnose high-quality data pipelines.
- Work with relational databases and enterprise data platforms.
- Create and maintain Docker-based containerized workloads.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Apply code quality, testing automation, and maintainable design practices.
- Collaborate with clients and distributed cross-functional engineering teams.
- Translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products.
- Participate in technical assessments and client-focused engineering discussions during the hiring process.
