As a k itchenhand , you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, order and efficiency in the kitchen .

• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
• Conduct temperature and quality checks , effectively managing cross-contamination to e nsure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
• Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
• Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals
• Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills
• Previous experience in a sandwich hand or kitchenhand, preferred

• Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster
