Requirements

• Essential Functions:

• Observe all safety practices and guidelines while executing tasks in order to provide a safe work environment for our employees and to prevent cross contamination
• Build system of checks and balances to ensure rigorous quality and documentation integrity
• Improve existing confections & nutraceutical products for better shelf stability, absorption, flavor and sensory experience
• Identify & specify equipment, tools, ingredients and methods in the production of edible & nutraceutical products
• Adhere to all internal procedures (SOP/GMP) and external regulations
• Immediately report and document all planned and unplanned SOP deviations
• Embrace all changes to approaches and SOPs per management directives
• Work with Quality assurance to identify and document any non-conforming products
• Follow all rules of conduct regarding proprietary information and processes
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in a sanitary, safe, and organized manner
• Calibrate equipment (scales etc.) daily, document and report needed repairs/tag-outs
• Work effectively in a team environment, support product development and kitchen staff, coordinate responsibilities with other departments within Revolution
• Remain current with industry trends, safety & quality requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Minimum Education/Experience:
• Positive attitude, ability to follow directions, and desire to learn
• High School Diploma or some college
• Prior participation in a growing business or manufacturing department is highly favored
• Cannabis industry experience and or special insight/knowledge is a plus
• Preferred Skills, Abilities, Licensures and Certifications:

• · Prior exposure to cannabis cultivation.
• · Familiarity with cannabis-specific state regulations in Illinois.

• Additional Requirements:
• · Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• · Must possess valid state ID.
• · Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements in order to work in in cannabis industry (requires background check and state review).
• Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
• With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
• Must be able to speak at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors and temperature variations in the workplace
• Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
• Constantly exposed to moderate background noise due to environmental systems, equipment, and fans.
• Must be able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater).
• Work Schedule:
• · 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
• · Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compensation/Benefits:
• Pay Range based on experience: starting wage is $19/hr. Revolution's Full-Time Employees are eligible for benefit offerings for the following: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, HSA, PTO, and Matching 401k
