Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to)

• Performs supervisory responsibilities such as planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting training programs; evaluating performance; and handling team member relations matters.
• Assists Food and Beverage management in collaborating with team members on the design of professional development plans that support their continuous learning.
• Participates in the planning of and preparation for regularly scheduled meetings with team members.
• Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures relating to Food and Beverage; ensures compliance with food and kitchen-related safety regulations .
• Oversees line and prep stations to ensure that all the ingredients and necessary components for the menu items to be prepared during the shift are ready at the start of the shift (mise en place); assists when necessary.
• Cooks or assists line cooks in cooking good food in a speedy and organized manner.
• Maintains a clean cooking area, including clean, sharp, and organized utensils.
