Graduation from a recognized Culinary Arts Program, with completion of a Journeyman’s certificate in professional cooking, and Interprovincial Red Seal.
3+ years of supervisory experience in hospitality, health care, or a related field
Valid certifications: First Aid & CPR, WHMIS, Infection Prevention & Control
Strong Knowledge and experience working with clients who have mental and or physical disabilities, and or addictions.
Good leadership qualities and experience with developing and leading a culinary team.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and workforce scheduling tools (UKG or similar)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills.
Satisfactory criminal record check.
Healthcare & kitchen environments (exposure to noise, heat/cold)
Lifting up to 25 lbs, walking, bending, squatting required
Travel between sites is required
Evening/weekend availability based on operational needs
