Position Summary

Kitchen Support Duties

• Support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs across several hotel departments.
• Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.
• Transport dishware across the hotel.

Standards and Teamwork

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance, protect confidential information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, communicate clearly and professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Meet quality expectations and standards and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required at entry.
