Kitchen Manager (Salaried) – The White Chocolate Grill, Phoenix, AZ Compensation: $82,000 – $85,000 base salary, plus quarterly bonus potential of up to 10% Schedule: Full-time, salaried Location: The White Chocolate Grill, Phoenix, Arizona About Us The White Chocolate Grill is a high-volume, scratch-kitchen restaurant serving upscale American comfort food in a polished-casual setting. Everything we serve is made in-house, from our sauces and dressings to our signature desserts. We are part of a stable, family-owned restaurant group with five locations across Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, and Kansas, and we take pride in doing things the right way: real food, real hospitality, and a team that looks out for one another. The Role We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the back of house at our Phoenix restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who has already run a high-volume scratch kitchen (minimum $120,000 weekly sales) and knows what it takes to deliver consistency, quality, and speed when the dining room is full. You will own the kitchen: the food, the people, the costs, and the culture.

Lead daily kitchen operations, including line supervision, prep planning, and expediting during peak service Uphold recipe and plating standards so every guest gets the same great dish, every time Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop a strong back-of-house team, from prep cooks to line cooks, food runners, servers and more Manage food cost, labor cost, and inventory through accurate ordering, waste control, and weekly counts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen that meets or exceeds health department and company standards Partner with the Executive Kitchen Manager and General Manager to run smooth, coordinated shifts Coach and hold the team accountable in a way that builds respect, not fear Contribute to a positive, professional culture where people want to come to work What We Are Looking For At least 5 years of experience in a from-scratch kitchen, with a proven track record as a Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant (minimum $120,000 in weekly sales) Strong command of scratch cooking fundamentals, recipe execution, and line management Demonstrated success managing food and labor costs to budget Experience hiring, training, and leading a full back-of-house team Working knowledge of health, sanitation, and safety standards; ServSafe Manager certification or the ability to obtain it Calm under pressure, organized, and comfortable making decisions on a busy Friday night Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Base salary of $82,000 to $85,000, depending on experience Quarterly bonus program with potential of up to 10% of base salary Health benefits available for you and your whole family, with the company paying 70% of employee-only coverage Two weeks of paid vacation during your first two years, increasing to three weeks in your third year The stability of a well-established, family-owned group and the opportunity to grow with us How to Apply If you are a scratch-kitchen leader who is ready to run a high-volume kitchen with a team that has your back, we would like to hear from you.
