Kitchen Equipment Technician

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain ovens, ranges, grills, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, mixers, food processors, and steamers.
• Carry out routine inspections for safe and efficient operation.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Install and commission new kitchen equipment when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and supervisors on maintenance needs.
• Comply with health, safety, food safety, and company standards.
• Maintain records of repairs, spare parts, and equipment history.
• Recommend solutions or replacements for recurring equipment problems.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain and repair commercial kitchen and catering equipment.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Ability to comply with health, safety, food safety, and company standards.
