Key Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as directed by chefs.
- Assemble basic dishes and portion food items accurately.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware and maintain clean workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Receive, store, and rotate stock using FIFO to minimize waste.
- Assist with plating and garnishing during service.
- Fetch ingredients and equipment for chefs during busy periods.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, slicers, and mixers.
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns.
- Keep the kitchen organized and stocked throughout shifts.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,500 to AED 1,800 per month.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
