KIP Spring 2027 - Operations Intern - Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity

• Jump in wherever needed. The Operations Intern may be asked to tackle anything from financial administration and event planning to research and organizational problem solving.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Learns quickly and is comfortable asking questions.
• Is highly organized and detail oriented.
• Communicates clearly and professionally.
• Can independently manage recurring responsibilities and follow through reliably.

• Is willing to take on unfamiliar or unglamorous tasks when necessary.
• Is comfortable working in an environment where processes are still evolving.
• Brings a positive attitude and works well with a close knit team.
• Wants to grow professionally and become a meaningful contributor to the team.

Prior professional or internship experience is not required.

We are more interested in judgment, work ethic, curiosity, communication skills, and willingness to learn than in an extensive resume.

The Operations Intern will have the opportunity to:

• Work directly with senior staff at a growing policy organization.
• Take on meaningful responsibility rather than simply shadowing or completing routine intern assignments.
• Gain exposure to development, operations, policy research, and organizational strategy.
• Learn how a small organization operates across multiple functions.
• Develop practical skills in systems, project management, research, CRM management, and process improvement.
• Contribute ideas and help improve the way FREOPP works.
