Role Overview
The Key Accounts Manager manages distributor relationships and supports sales growth for the distribution business.
The role serves as the primary contact for existing distributors and develops relationships with potential new distributors.
Distributor and Sales Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing distributors as their primary sales contact.
- Identify and engage potential new distributors.
- Conduct market research and evaluate prospective distributors against company requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop sales strategies, promotional materials, and product training resources.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, distributor feedback, and market trends.
- Conduct sales meetings, training sessions, and product presentations for distributors.
Internal Coordination and Reporting
- Coordinate with internal sales and other departments on order processing and timely delivery.
- Resolve distributor-related issues.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports to management, including distributor performance and market conditions.
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities.
