Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plan to meet revenue goals in banking and wealth management sectors
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within banking and wealth management
- Tailor product demonstrations and presentations to showcase solutions
- Manage ongoing support and system needs of existing clients
- Lead contract negotiation and close sales
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry shifts
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Lead internal sales, pre sales, compliance, and approval processes
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in banking, wealth management, or fintech
- Strong understanding of banking and wealth management landscape
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex software solutions to senior executives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in Middle East & Africa region
- MBA or relevant certifications in sales or financial services is a plus
- Arabic and/or French language is an added advantage

Job Description
- As Key Account Manager for Banking & Wealth Management Solutions, you will drive sales strategy and expand customer base in financial services.
- Engage with C suite executives, technology leaders, and key decision makers.
- Ability to sell On Premise, SaaS, PaaS & BpaaS offerings from Avaloq.
Key Tasks
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet revenue goals within banking and wealth management sectors.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities; cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and tailor product demonstrations and presentations.
- Manage ongoing support and system needs of existing clients.
- Stay up to date with product suite and present solutions effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Lead contract negotiation and close sales; oversee handoff to implementation team.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry shifts; provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Lead internal sales, pre sales, compliance, and approval processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in banking, wealth management, or fintech, with track record of exceeding targets, especially in Middle East & Africa.
- Strong understanding of banking, wealth management, and financial services landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex software solutions to senior executives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team; manage multiple opportunities.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or certifications a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with banking software advantageous.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic and/or French language an added advantage.
