Job Description

  • As Key Account Manager for Banking & Wealth Management Solutions, you will drive sales strategy and expand customer base in financial services.
  • Engage with C suite executives, technology leaders, and key decision makers.
  • Ability to sell On Premise, SaaS, PaaS & BpaaS offerings from Avaloq.

Key Tasks

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet revenue goals within banking and wealth management sectors.
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities; cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and tailor product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage ongoing support and system needs of existing clients.
  • Stay up to date with product suite and present solutions effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead contract negotiation and close sales; oversee handoff to implementation team.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry shifts; provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Lead internal sales, pre sales, compliance, and approval processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in banking, wealth management, or fintech, with track record of exceeding targets, especially in Middle East & Africa.
  • Strong understanding of banking, wealth management, and financial services landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex software solutions to senior executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team; manage multiple opportunities.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or certifications a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with banking software advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic and/or French language an added advantage.
