About the Role
Al Rabie Saudi Foods is seeking a Key Account Manager to own and grow business with major Modern Trade retail partners in Jeddah. The role involves developing account strategies, managing P&L, negotiating trading terms, and ensuring in-store execution for the juice and beverage portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual account plans for assigned Modern Trade key accounts with clear revenue, volume, and market share targets
- Drive sustainable growth across the Al Rabie portfolio within hypermarkets, supermarkets, and organized retail chains
- Identify growth opportunities including new listings, incremental displays, and expansion into new store openings
- Lead the introduction and sell in of new products and pack formats in collaboration with marketing and trade marketing teams
- Own the account P&L including net revenue, trade spend, promotional ROI, and profitability targets
- Negotiate annual trading terms, pricing, promotional calendars, and listing agreements
- Manage trade investment budgets effectively, balancing promotional visibility, activation, and bottom line contribution
- Deliver accurate volume and revenue forecasts in coordination with supply chain and demand planning teams
- Own day to day and strategic relationships with buyers, category managers, and commercial teams at assigned key accounts
- Lead joint business planning sessions and quarterly business reviews
- Ensure best in class in store execution including planogram compliance, shelf availability, secondary displays, and pricing accuracy
- Plan and execute promotional programs and seasonal activations tailored to each account’s shopper base
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in key account management or Modern Trade sales roles within FMCG
- 8+ years’ total experience in FMCG commercial or sales functions, Food & Beverage preferred
- Proven experience managing major KSA retail chains (required)
- Demonstrated P&L or trade budget ownership
- Fluent in Arabic and English (required)
- Strong commercial negotiation with retail buyers and category teams
- Analytical mindset with data driven decision making
- Ability to manage multiple key accounts simultaneously

Role Overview
- Reporting to the Modern Trade Manager, the Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing Al Rabie’s business with assigned Modern Trade key accounts.
- The role owns the full commercial relationship, from annual joint business planning and negotiation to in store execution and P&L delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute annual account plans, drive sustainable growth, identify growth opportunities, lead new product introductions.
- Commercial & P&L Management: Own account P&L, negotiate trading terms, manage trade investment budgets, deliver accurate forecasts.
- Customer & Relationship Management: Own relationships with buyers and category managers, lead joint business planning and quarterly reviews, resolve issues.
- In Store Execution & Operations: Ensure best in class in store execution, conduct regular store visits, collaborate with field sales and merchandising teams.
- Promotions & Category Development: Plan and execute promotional programs, partner with trade marketing, use category insights to build selling stories.
- Data, Analytics & Reporting: Build account scorecards, use retailer data and market intelligence, track competitive activity, prepare monthly performance reviews.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in key account management or Modern Trade sales roles within FMCG.
- 8+ years’ total experience in FMCG commercial or sales functions, Food & Beverage preferred.
- Proven experience managing major KSA retail chains (required).
- Demonstrated P&L or trade budget ownership.
- Proven track record managing national or regional retail accounts (Panda, Danube, BinDawood, Carrefour, Othaim, or similar).
- Strong commercial negotiation with retail buyers and category teams.
- Analytical mindset with data driven decision making.
- Ability to manage multiple key accounts simultaneously.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (required).
