Role Overview
The role is Key Account Manager – Respiratory within Sanofi’s Specialty Care team.
The position is based in Dubai and is field-based across the UAE territory.
The role drives strategic account growth and partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutional decision-makers.
The position supports access to innovative treatments for respiratory and specialty care patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory-specific account plans aligned with national commercial strategy and the Respiratory portfolio.
- Build relationships with specialists, pulmonologists, healthcare professionals, and hospital decision-makers across the UAE.
- Drive product adoption through scientific and value-based engagement and clinical data communication.
- Identify and develop key opinion leaders in the UAE respiratory and specialty care ecosystem.
Collaboration and Market Intelligence
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing teams on account strategies.
- Monitor account performance, sales KPIs, and market trends and report actionable insights to management.
- Gather and report competitive intelligence on key players in the UAE market.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of UAE market experience managing accounts and healthcare professional relationships is required.
- At least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales or account management experience is required.
- Strong understanding of UAE public and private healthcare facilities and institutional accounts is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field is required.
- Experience in specialty care, respiratory, biologics, or immunology is advantageous.
- Experience with biologic therapies or specialty pharmaceutical products is highly preferred.
Skills and Languages
- English proficiency is mandatory and Arabic proficiency is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- The role requires self-motivation, results orientation, independent work, and cross-functional collaboration.
