- Assist in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress based websites and web applications
- Implement front end designs, configure themes and plugins, and ensure responsive layouts across devices and browsers
- Collaborate with designers and senior developers, troubleshoot technical issues, perform basic back end configurations, and participate in code reviews
- Help optimize site performance, support content updates, and follow best practices for security, accessibility, and user experience
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Web Development with hands on experience in WordPress site setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Front End Development skills including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Responsive Web Design and Web Design abilities
- Basic Back End Web Development skills for WordPress (e.g., understanding of PHP, databases, and CMS architecture)
- Familiarity with version control tools (such as Git) and basic debugging techniques
- Ability to follow coding standards, document work clearly, and collaborate effectively within a team
- Good problem solving, time management, and communication skills
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
