Position Summary
The Junior Technical Project Coordinator plays an important support role within the sales, customer service, technical, and operations teams. This position is responsible for assisting with project documentation, drafting, estimating, quotations, shop drawings, production tickets, purchase orders, and technical information updates. The role requires strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers, suppliers, production scheduling, and third-party fabricators.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with technical drafting, estimating, shop drawings, production tickets, quotations, and related project documentation.
- Review drawings, specifications, measurements, and customer requirements to support accurate estimates, take-offs, and order preparation.
- Assist with preparing purchase orders and coordinating required information with suppliers, vendors, and third-party fabricators.
- Work closely with the Production Coordinator / Scheduler to ensure technical documentation, tickets, and order details are complete, accurate, and aligned with production timelines.
- Support Customer Service by providing timely information, clarifications, documentation, and responses required to serve customers effectively.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to support project opportunities, pricing requests, product recommendations, technical questions, and customer follow-up.
