About the role

The selected candidate will contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects such as the Dubai–Abu Dhabi High-Speed Railway corridors and Dubai Strategic Sewer Tunnel works. Responsibilities include designing structures. (e.g., tunnel sections, cross-passages, cut-and-cover structures, launching/retrieval shafts).

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design of tunnels, shafts, cut-and-cover structures.

Prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.

Develop structural/geotechnical models and carry out analyses using Plaxis/RS2 and Staad Pro software.

Evaluate structural behavior under earth pressure, groundwater, surcharge, construction, and seismic loading.

Assist in preparing design deliverables for detailed design stages.

Participate in design reviews, checking activities, and value engineering exercises.

Evaluate structural behavior under static, seismic, earth pressure, groundwater, surcharge, and construction loading conditions

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, post graduation degree preferred.

0- 3 years of professional experience in related fields

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Plaxis, STAAD.Pro, similar software is desirable. Basic knowledge of underground structures, including tunnels, shafts, retaining structures, and cut-and-cover construction, will be an advantage.
