Junior Sous Chef - Cold Kitchen

Position Summary

Kitchen Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients through portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, mixing, and proper storage.
• Prepare cold foods, cook food to standards, test doneness, monitor quality, and serve proper portions.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Set up and break down the work station and check appliance and food temperatures.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required or listed.
• The role requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching during a work shift.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
