Role description
Low Carbon is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to work on its technology roadmap, The Park data platform, and strategic digital products.
The role spans software services, data platforms, web applications, and analytical products on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
The position is intended for someone with approximately 1–2 years of experience.
Workplace
- The role is hybrid and based in London, United Kingdom.
Key responsibilities
- Support software services, APIs, integrations, web applications, and digital products for operational and data platforms.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools for operational and financial performance analysis.
- Maintain data pipelines, data models, and Lakehouses using Microsoft Fabric.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment using Azure DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews and software design discussions while applying engineering best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and production systems to support reliability, data quality, and performance.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and maintain technical documentation.
