JUNIOR SECURITY SPECIALIST-SS1

McLaughlin Research Corporation (MRC) is seeking a Junior Security Specialist (TS) who will support the Naval Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD.

NAVAIR is the principal provider for the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE), while contributing to every Warfare enterprise in the interest of national security.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment.

Under close supervision, supports SCI and SAP security administration.

Performs security and administrative management of assigned SCI and SAP.

Considers all aspects of security, to include personnel security, physical security, operations security, communications security, and associated oversight.

Shall obtain SFPC within one year of performance start on this contract and maintain certification for the duration of employment.

Evidence of certification to be provided as an attachment to CDRL A006.

At least two (2) years of relevant experience.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and organizational skills

· Detail oriented, proactive and must be capable of multitasking
