About the Role

  • We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented Junior Sales Engineer to support our sales team with customer inquiries, lead follow ups, quotations, product coordination, and business development activities.
  • This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, confident in communication, organized, and interested in building a career in sales within the AV, broadcast, media, or technology industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming inquiries via phone, email, website, and WhatsApp.
  • Follow up with new and existing customers to understand their requirements.
  • Support outbound business development through calls, emails, and client research.
  • Maintain contact with old customers and support account reactivation activities.
  • Learn Systec’s key product categories, including broadcast, cameras, switchers, AV systems, lighting, audio, CCTV, and media solutions.
  • Assist customers with basic product information and coordinate with senior team members for technical requirements.
  • Support product comparisons, specifications, and solution recommendations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/distributors for pricing, availability, and product updates.
  • Prepare and support quotations, proposals, and product information.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, customer details, and follow up status.
  • Update CRM / sales tracking sheets regularly.
  • Follow up on pending quotations, purchase orders, payments, and deliveries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, IT, Electronics, Media Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales coordination, technical sales, customer service, or business development.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Organized, reliable, and consistent with follow ups.
  • Interest in AV, broadcast, media, electronics, CCTV, or technology products.
  • Ability to learn technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
  • Confident in calling customers and supporting outbound sales activity.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in AV, broadcast, CCTV, IT, electronics, or system integration.
  • Basic understanding of quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of Zoho Books, Shopify, or CRM tools is an advantage.
  • UAE market experience is a plus.

AI & Digital Awareness

  • Comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and AI supported platforms to improve sales coordination, product research, reporting, and customer follow ups.
  • Open to learning how AI tools can support technical product understanding, sales communication, lead management, and productivity.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • The ideal candidate should be energetic, organized, and willing to learn.
  • They should be comfortable speaking to customers, following up on leads, supporting the senior sales team, and gradually developing into a stronger technical sales professional.

  • Timely follow up on leads and quotations.
  • Accurate CRM / sales tracker updates.
  • Support in converting inquiries into confirmed orders.
  • Contribution to outbound business development and customer reactivation.
  • Strong coordination between customers, sales team, and internal departments.
