Junior Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

Employment and Location

• The employment type is full-time.
• The job location is Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500081.
• The work location is in person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Prepare and submit RA bills, client bills, and subcontractor bills.
• Check and certify subcontractor measurements and bills.
• Maintain measurement sheets, abstracts, and billing records.
• Verify quantities with approved drawings and actual site measurements.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Clients regarding measurements and billing.
• Maintain documentation for project commercial activities.

Required Qualifications

• B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience or knowledge in quantity surveying, billing, estimation, or commercial activities.
• Good knowledge of civil BOQs and quantity calculation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 0–2 years of experience in construction, contracting, QS, or billing is preferred.
• Candidates with building construction, residential, commercial, infrastructure, or finishing-works experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
