Role Description
The Junior QS Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role supports quantity surveying and cost control for power and renewable energy projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bills of quantities.
- Review engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support tender documentation and update cost databases.
- Help monitor project budgets and prepare progress and cost reports.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers for accurate measurements and cost control.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in quantity surveying or engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic cost estimation tools; quantity surveying or project management software familiarity is advantageous.
