About the Role
ALEC Facades is looking for a Junior QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control activities across façade projects in the UAE. The role involves inspecting façade systems, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing quality documentation.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes specific to façade systems
- Conduct inspections of façade materials, assemblies, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards
- Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures
- Coordinate site quality inspections, material delivery inspections, and installation checks
- Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, NCRs, and quality documentation
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with project teams and subcontractors
- Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, current, and readily accessible
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders on quality related matters
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with company quality management systems
Requirements
- 2–5 years of QA/QC experience within façade, curtain wall, cladding, glazing, aluminium systems, or building envelope projects
- Experience with façade contractors, specialist subcontractors, or façade manufacturers
- Experience on high rise, commercial, hospitality, or residential developments
- Familiarity with façade fabrication, assembly, installation, inspection, and testing processes
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Understanding of international standards including ASTM, BS, EN, AAMA, and project specific façade specifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline

Job Overview
- We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer Junior to support quality assurance and quality control activities across façade projects, ensuring that materials, fabrication, installation, and testing activities meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

- ALEC Facades designs and delivers advanced façade systems for architecturally challenging buildings.
Your Role
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes specific to façade systems.
- Conduct inspections of façade materials, assemblies, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

What We're Looking For Experience
- 2–5 years of QA/QC experience within façade, curtain wall, cladding, glazing, aluminium systems, or building envelope projects.
- Experience with façade contractors, specialist subcontractors, or façade manufacturers.
- Experience on high rise, commercial, hospitality, or residential developments.
- GCC experience preferred; UAE based candidates are highly desirable.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with façade fabrication, assembly, installation, inspection, and testing processes.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Understanding of international standards including ASTM, BS, EN, AAMA, and project specific façade specifications.
Qualifications
