Junior Procurement

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• One to two years of construction procurement experience is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of civil and MEP materials is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and Microsoft Office skills are required.
• The candidate should be willing to learn and work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Purpose

Procurement Responsibilities

• Prepare Material Requisitions and procurement requests based on project requirements.
• Source supplier and subcontractor quotations and procure civil and MEP materials and equipment.
• Review quotations and prepare Technical and Commercial Comparisons for approval.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, planning, site, consultant, and project teams.
• Follow up on submittals, datasheets, samples, compliance certificates, and test certificates.
• Negotiate supplier price, delivery, payment terms, warranty, and lead time.
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontractor agreements after receiving approvals.
• Monitor production and delivery schedules and report procurement risks and delays.
• Coordinate delivery, inspection, and quantity verification with store and site teams.
• Maintain RFQs, quotations, comparison sheets, purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and supplier documents.
• Maintain procurement logs, support long-lead procurement and value engineering, and coordinate supplier payments.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with procedures, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
