Position Summary
IES Communications is seeking a Junior .NET Developer with approximately 2-5 years of professional experience.
The role works within an existing codebase using C#, .NET, SQL, and web application fundamentals.
The position is intended for developers with strong fundamentals rather than senior architects, technical leads, or engineering managers.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
- Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or .NET Core.
- Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Understanding of UI, controller or API, service layer, and database layer architecture.
- Experience maintaining an existing codebase and debugging application issues.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing .NET applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
- Write and modify SQL queries as needed.
- Follow existing coding standards and development patterns.
