Job Summary
- Links Insurance Brokers LLC is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Junior Medical Underwriter to support the growth, placement, and servicing of our SME Medical Insurance portfolio.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining and negotiating quotations, preparing proposals, managing renewals, and supporting the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain quotations from leading UAE insurers for SME medical insurance prospects.
- Ensure timely turnaround of quotations and proposals.
- Review client requirements and prepare complete underwriting submissions.
- Analyze and compare quotations, benefits, exclusions, network options, and pricing structures.
- Prepare professional comparison reports and recommendations.
- Negotiate premiums, benefits, and policy terms with insurers.
- Support the sales team in new business presentations and client discussions.
- Manage the renewal process for assigned SME medical insurance portfolios.
- Coordinate policy issuance, endorsements, additions, deletions, and member amendments.
- Maintain accurate client records, underwriting files, and renewal trackers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of UAE experience in Medical Insurance Underwriting, Broking, or Account Management.
- Proven experience handling SME Medical Insurance portfolios is mandatory.
- Exposure to Individual Medical Insurance products is preferred.
- Strong understanding of UAE health insurance regulations and market practices.
- Experience dealing directly with major UAE medical insurance providers.
