Purpose
Worley Consulting is seeking a Junior Marine Structural Engineer for a full-time office position based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structural engineering services that meet company, customer, statutory, and regulatory specifications on time and within budget.
- Identify and report changes to project scope.
- Assist with proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities, including requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase orders.
- Contribute to studies and analyses and recommend appropriate actions.
- Assist with detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.
- Participate in field inspections of industrial and marine sites and equipment and prepare inspection reports.
- Communicate with the structural engineering team, project stakeholders, and customers.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and request assistance when needed.
