Role Overview
Beamed Trading is seeking a Junior Logistics Coordinator.
The role focuses on import and export operations, international shipment coordination, documentation, customs processes, and supplier communication.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of logistics experience with hands-on import and export operations.
Documentation and Compliance
- Practical knowledge of commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin, and other shipping documents.
- Basic knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import/export regulations.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping terms.
- Experience handling customs documentation and shipment clearance is preferred.
Coordination and Shipment Management
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transport companies.
- Track and coordinate international shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Manage multiple shipments and meet delivery deadlines.
- Follow up on shipment inquiries, order confirmations, document requests, and delivery updates.
Tools and Professional Skills
- Use Microsoft Outlook for professional shipment and supplier communication.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- ERP or logistics system experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication, follow-up, organizational, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Maintain high attention to detail when reviewing shipping and commercial documents.
- Good written and spoken English.
