A role you will love The Junior IT Project Manager will support the delivery of projects, smaller initiatives and work packages, building project management capability through close collaboration with senior Project Managers, delivery teams, business stakeholders and technology colleagues.
This role will help ensure delivery is well structured, transparent and aligned to agreed scope, quality, cost and time constraints.
This includes supporting project planning, tracking actions, risks, issues and dependencies, maintaining delivery reporting and governance artefacts, and escalating blockers clearly and early where support is required.
Working in an Agile software delivery environment, the Junior IT Project Manager will support team management, planning, process management, scheduling, reporting and delivery coordination across multiple Plans development teams.
The role provides progression through practical exposure to project governance, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, financial tracking, release planning and portfolio reporting.

What will you bring to the role?
As Junior IT Project Manager, you will be able to build productive working relationships with individuals from technical and non-technical backgrounds.
You will be an engaging collaborator, active listener, it’s important that you have good communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
You will have a basic understanding of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle and Agile ways of working.
With a developing understanding of project planning, delivery tracking, RAID management, governance reporting and stakeholder communication.
Knowing how to identify and clarify issues, risks and blockers, and working with others to understand root causes/next steps.
Understanding the importance of escalating issues early and clearly when support, decisions or prioritisation are required.
