Role Overview
The Junior Internal Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports internal audit engagements, financial and operational audit procedures, control testing, reporting, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing internal audit engagements.
- Perform financial and operational audit procedures under supervision.
- Review documentation, test internal controls, and support audit report preparation.
- Identify process improvement and risk mitigation opportunities.
- Support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Gather information from cross-functional teams and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience or training in conducting or supporting financial audits.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles relevant to internal audits.
- Ability to prepare clear, structured audit reports and documentation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and assess control effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other audit or reporting tools.
- Communication skills, attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Interest in pursuing CIA, ACCA, CPA, or similar professional certifications is an advantage.
