About the Role
Design Lounge seeks a Junior Interior Designer to support senior designers in concept development, space planning, and FF&E coordination for high-end residential and commercial projects in Doha.

Responsibilities
- Support senior designers with concept development, mood boards, and design presentations
- Assist with space planning and prepare construction drawings
- Coordinate FF&E selections and ensure design documentation accuracy
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for material and furniture sourcing
- Support project coordination from design through installation
- Participate in site visits and assist with quality checks
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings
- Experience or coursework related to FF&E
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Interest in contemporary and luxury design brands

Role Description
- Support senior designers with concept development, mood boards, and detailed design presentations.
- Assist with space planning, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating FF&E selections.
- Ensure design documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for material and furniture sourcing.
- Support project coordination from design through installation.
- Participate in site visits, assist with quality checks, and maintain consistent design standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and Construction Drawings, including CAD or similar software.
- Experience or coursework in FF&E sourcing, specification, and schedule management.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in contemporary and luxury design brands; prior internship or junior experience is an advantage.
