Role Overview
Support the HSE team in implementing workplace health and safety programs.
Work across field operations to promote compliance with UAE local safety regulations.
The role is intended for a motivated professional developing a career in HSE.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Monitor workforce compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practices.
- Assist with toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing worker safety training.
- Support investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and maintain safety records.
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and other emergency equipment.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports for project management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely certification is required.
- Candidates should have 0 to 2 years of HSE experience.
- UAE construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of UAE labor laws, OSHAD frameworks, and OSHA or ISO safety standards is required.
