NJD Games is looking for a Junior Unity Developer to join their team in Riyadh, building racing and drifting games for the Saudi market. The role involves developing vehicle physics, drifting mechanics, and optimizing mobile performance.

Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable C# scripts in Unity for gameplay and vehicle control mechanics
- Develop and fine tune car physics and drift behavior to deliver realistic, fun to play handling
- Integrate 3D car models into the game and ensure correct rigging with animation and physics
- Optimize game performance on mobile devices: stable frame rate (FPS), memory management, and battery consumption
- Reduce draw calls and GC allocations, and apply techniques such as object pooling to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the art and QA teams to deliver smooth, polished, bug free gameplay
- Test and debug builds, and maintain build quality ahead of release
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 1 2 years of experience in game development using Unity and C#
- Solid understanding of game physics and vehicle movement mechanics
- Working knowledge of performance optimization on mobile platforms
- Familiarity with handling 3D assets inside Unity
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

About the Role
- At NJD Games, we build racing and drifting (hajwala) games for the Saudi and Gulf market, with published titles including King of Hajwala, Hajwala Corsa, and Hajwala Corsa 2.
- We're looking for a Junior Unity Developer passionate about automotive racing games to join our development team.
- You'll work on vehicle physics, drifting mechanics, and mobile performance optimization, collaborating closely with our art and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
