Responsibilities
- Design and prepare fresh flower arrangements, bouquets, floral boxes, and event floral decorations
- Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable floral products and gifts
- Promote and upsell floral arrangements, add ons, and seasonal products to achieve sales targets
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Process customer orders accurately, both in store and online
- Care for and maintain fresh flowers and plants to ensure their quality and longevity
- Receive, unpack, and condition fresh flower deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace, display areas, and storage
- Monitor inventory and report stock shortages to the supervisor
- Ensure all floral products are presented according to company standards
- Assist with seasonal displays, promotions, and special events
- Follow company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Florist or Junior Florist
- Strong knowledge of flower varieties, floral care, and arrangement techniques
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products and engage customers
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Creative with a keen eye for color, design, and detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
