FinVest is seeking a Junior Financial Operations Associate to join its founding team.
The role supports trade execution, reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and operation of the settlement engine.
The position is intended for someone with 1-3 years of experience who wants to learn how capital markets operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end settlement for secondary-market trades, ensuring secure fund movement and accurate share transfers.
- Conduct pre-trade and post-trade checks and screen users against local and international sanctions lists.
- Calculate, verify, and allocate platform fees and trading commissions for every transaction.
- Perform daily financial reconciliation.
- Maintain ledgers for platform revenue, user escrow accounts, and payouts.
- Assist with monthly compliance reports for the Authority.
- Refine standard operating procedures and help automate manual tasks as the business grows.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in financial operations, investment operations, trade settlement, or accounting within the BFSI sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, is mandatory.
- Comfort with numbers and data, strong attention to detail, and a zero-error working approach.
- An ambitious, self-starting mindset and eagerness to learn about fintech, capital markets, and blockchain technology.
