Job Overview

The role is Junior Finance Manager within the Finance and Accounts department.

The position bridges accounting operations and strategic financial analysis in a hospitality finance environment.

The role supports corporate financial management, including budgeting, cash flow tracking, compliance, and reporting.

Financial Management Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and deliver reports to senior leadership.
  • Gather departmental data for annual budgets and monitor forecast models and KPIs.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and collection workflows.
  • Maintain internal controls, governance, and local tax compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit schedules.
  • Support finance process automation and general ledger reporting using tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI.
  • Supervise and support junior accounting clerks or finance interns.

Hospitality Finance Responsibilities

  • Monitor F&B cost percentages and compare theoretical costs with actual consumption.
  • Calculate recipe costs and analyze menu profitability for pricing and margin recommendations.
  • Prepare monthly P&L statements for individual restaurant outlets.
  • Compare actual sales and labor costs with budgets in weekly variance reports.
  • Oversee physical stock takes, supplier invoices, vendor payables, and cash flow relative to credit terms.
  • Reconcile POS systems, delivery platforms, and core accounting software.
  • Oversee outlet cash controls and compliance with VAT and other local tax requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related business field is required.
  • Three to five years of progressive financial accounting, analysis, finance, or cost control experience is required.
  • Three to five years of finance or cost control experience in F&B, restaurant groups, or hospitality is required.
  • Progress toward or completion of ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA is highly advantageous.
  • Corporate auditing or Big 4 experience is preferred.

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data models, and financial modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or F&B accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, FMC, Oracle Hospitality, Symphony, Micros, Fourth, or QuickBooks.
  • Familiarity with regional corporate taxation and IFRS.
  • Experience with F&B inventory and multi-delivery platform reconciliations.
  • Strong communication, commercial acumen, leadership potential, and collaborative ability.

Compensation

  • Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month.
