Junior Engineer

Python programming for data science and machine learning applications.

Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression, neural networks).

Familiarity with at least one ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar).

SQL and database fundamentals.

Git version control.

RESTful APIs and basic integration concepts.

Data manipulation and analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy).

Azure Functions for serverless computing and event-driven architectures.

Understanding of Durable Functions for workflow orchestration and stateful processing.

Microsoft Azure cloud services (Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning).

AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernal, or similar).

Prompt engineering and working with large language models.

Vector databases, embeddings and Cosmos DB for NoSQL data storage and management (nice to have).

Microsoft Power Platform.

DevOps basics (CI/CD concepts, Azure DevOps).

Data visualization tools.

Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.

Responsible AI principles and practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Learning agility and curiosity about emerging AI technologies.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with guidance.

Understanding of data privacy, security and compliance considerations in AI applications.

Must be bondable and maintain bonding eligibility throughout employment, in accordance with organizational and insurer requirements.
