Role Overview
The Junior DevOps Engineer will help build and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting software used by thousands of customers worldwide.
The role supports cloud reliability, deployment automation, observability, and collaboration with senior DevOps engineers.
Responsibilities
- Support management and maintenance of Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
- Help ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud services.
- Contribute to GitLab CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
- Support deployment automation and orchestration with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Argo Workflows, and Helm.
- Write and maintain automation scripts.
- Monitor system health with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement best practices with senior DevOps engineers.
- Communicate in English with teams in India and Portugal.
- Work primarily in India Standard Time with overlap for Portugal coordination.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience is requested, with internship or project-based experience also considered.
- Hands-on GCP exposure covering compute, networking, and IAM.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Argo CD, Helm, and container orchestration.
