Role overview
The employer is seeking a motivated junior rebar detailer, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
The role produces accurate rebar drawings for reinforced concrete construction projects and coordinates with project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret structural drawings, specifications, and details to create accurate rebar layouts and detailing.
- Prepare rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules using AutoCAD for reinforced concrete structures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and team members to resolve detailing and design issues.
- Communicate with the project team and assist with rebar construction and installation as required.
- Review project drawings and suggest improvements to detailing efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in site visits to assess rebar installation and address site-specific concerns.
- Maintain documentation and submit shop drawings, revisions, and RFIs on time.
Qualification
- Diploma or B.Tech in civil engineering.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and reinforced concrete detailing.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
