Role Overview
CDM Smith is seeking a Junior Design Structural Bridge Engineer with 4-5 years of bridge analysis and design experience.
The role requires knowledge of bridge engineering principles, structural analysis, design codes, and industry-standard analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, culverts, and associated structures.
- Develop structural calculations, drawings, technical reports, and structural models.
- Use MIDAS Civil and CSiBridge for structural analysis.
- Interpret analysis results and verify compliance with design codes and project specifications.
- Coordinate work, report progress, and assist with technical and construction-related structural issues.
Requirements
- Knowledge of CADD 3D and 4D software and practices.
