- Key Responsibilities:* Perform detailed eye examinations to assess patient vision and detect ocular disorders.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning of various eye conditions.
- Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior ophthalmologists.
- Provide patient education regarding eye health, treatments, and preventative care.
- Document patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology.
Requirements
- Medical degree with completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
- Valid medical license to practice ophthalmology in the relevant region.
- Board eligibility or certification in ophthalmology preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge of ocular diseases and surgical techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under supervision and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and professional development.
