Junior Civil/ Structural Drafter

Klohn Crippen Berger’s Vancouver office is seeking a Junior Civil/Structural Drafter to join the Civil & Structural Group working on Transportation, Marine, and Hydro Power projects.

This is an entry level position and requires no previous experience.

The successful candidate will join a team of accomplished engineers, designers, and drafters; and must possess a willingness to learn.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Work on all aspects of civil and structural design
• Create civil and/or structural layouts and conceptual plans
• Prepare detailed design drawings (civil, structural concrete, structural steel and reinforcing steel detailing)
• Work as part of a project team and alongside managers, engineers, designers and draftspersons

We value your:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2014 or newer is a minimum requirement
• Diploma or completion of a recognized drafting program
• Experience with Civil 3D and/or Revit is an asset but not a requirement
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
• Self-starter with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
