Role Overview
The cafe is hiring a Junior Barista/Waitress/Cashier for customer service and dining-area operations.
Requirements
- Two years of UAE experience in food and beverage is required.
- The candidate must be present in Abu Dhabi and willing to start immediately.
- Two years of waitress experience is preferred.
- Candidates must follow relevant health department regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and escort customers to their tables.
- Present menus and explain ingredients or potential food allergies.
- Prepare tables, clean dining surroundings, and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Upsell additional products when appropriate.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS.
- Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
- Serve coffee and drink orders.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Review daily specials, menu changes, and reservation service specifications with restaurant staff.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
