- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso based drinks to company standards
- Take food and drink orders at tables and deliver them promptly
- Greet and seat customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process orders and payments
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment
- Restock supplies throughout shifts
- Handle customer questions, special requests, and minor complaints
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Support opening and closing duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality role
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine operation
- Prior experience waiting tables or in customer facing service roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash and payments

About the Role
- We're looking for a friendly, energetic Junior Barista with table service experience to join our team.
- This role combines espresso bar skills with front of house customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and espresso based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, etc.) to company standards
- Take food and drink orders at tables and deliver them promptly and accurately
- Greet and seat customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience
- Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process orders and payments
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment
- Restock supplies (cups, milk, syrups, napkins, etc.) throughout shifts
- Handle customer questions, special requests, and minor complaints with a positive attitude
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support opening and closing duties as needed
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality role
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine operation (training provided if needed)
